82-0 is the best basketball game ever, hell with NBA 2K

82-0 they marry fantasy basketball with instant gratification and dumb luck. The goal is to draft a group of players who can (theoretically) have a perfect 82-0 season.

Obviously, if you had the freedom to choose anyone you wanted from all of history, there would be no problem. The twist is that the site chooses the team and time, and then you choose the player. So, for example, if you draw the Knicks and the 2020s, you can choose Jalen Brunson as your point guard, then you will get a team and time to choose your position.

You can reshuffle the group once, and once, if you don’t like what you do. But that’s it. Part of the challenge is figuring out exactly when to plan for what’s in front of you, and when to be optimistic about doing your best. Domantas Sabonis is a great player, but do you trade or draft someone from the Kings in the hopes that he might draw Wilt Chamberlain in the next round?

There is also a HoopIQ option that hides all the stats and requires you to have some basketball knowledge to get a good season. Honestly, even with the numbers in front of you, it’s very difficult. The best I could find was 78-4.
