Despite Marcus Rashford’s exceptional numbers at Barcelona, it seems Manchester United fans don’t want to see him back at Old Trafford.
The Manchester Evening News has published a poll on its official website with the title: “Should United give Rashford another chance next season?” The result was shocking for the English winger.
The magazine said in a statement that the 28-year-old had enjoyed an exceptional season on loan, scoring 14 goals and providing 14 assists in all competitions, figures that firmly restored his name in the England squad ahead of his first World Cup appearance.
Despite this, 67% of participants voted against his return, while only 33% were in favor of giving him another chance under the leadership of the technical staff.
United have Rashford under contract until 2028 and Barcelona have a €30m buyout until June 15, but the Catalan club are unwilling to pay the full amount and could seek to renegotiate, opening the door to other scenarios.

The division was not limited to the fans, as opinions of the club’s legends differed between supporters of the academy son’s return and opponents who believed his time with United was over.
