48 hours decide Ali Al-Bulai’s fate with Al-Hilal

In the next 48 hours, “Al Hilal” defender Ali Al-Bulaihi is waiting for the decision of the coach of the Italian team, Simone Inzaghi, on the list of the delegation that will go to Austria next Wednesday, to hold a preparatory meeting to prepare for the new season.

According to Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiah, Al-Bulaihi is still tied to Al-Hilal with a contract that extends for an extra season, and the decision to leave with the team remains in the hands of Inzaghi, who will decide the player’s position according to his technical vision and needs in the next phase.

The newspaper adds that the 36-year-old defender underwent physical and muscle tests in the past few days before joining group training sessions after recovering from a health condition that prevented him from taking part in the pre-season after the end of the season.

Al-Bulayhi has had a long career at Al-Hilal, as he has made 263 appearances in various competitions, scoring 23 goals and providing 3 assists, according to Transfermarkt statistics. He also helped the team win five Saudi Arabian League titles, three King’s Cup titles and three Saudi Arabian Super Cup titles, in addition to two AFC Champions League titles, before moving to Al-Shabaab on loan last January.

The Al Hilal delegation will leave for Austria next Wednesday for a camp that runs until August 3, which will include four friendlies against Austria’s Sturm Graz, South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, Algeria’s Mouludia and Qatar’s Al Ahly.
