2026-2027 Champions League draw date, league stage and broadcast channels

The 2026-2027 edition of the Champions League is the seventy-second edition of the European continent’s most prestigious club competition, organized by the European Football Association (UEFA), and it also marks the thirty-fifth season that the name of the competition has changed from the “European Cup” to the “UEFA Champions League”.

The final match is scheduled to be held on June 5, 2027 at the “Metropolitano” stadium in Madrid, the capital of Spain. This will be the second time the stadium will host the Champions League final, after hosting the 2019 final.

In the 2027-2028 Champions League season, the team that wins the title will receive direct qualification for the 2027-2028 Champions League, and the team that wins the title will also qualify for the 2027 Confederations Cup final.

It will also qualify for the 2029 Club World Cup group stage, in addition to the right to face the 2026-27 Europa League champion (Europa League) in the 2027 UEFA Super Cup.

“Paris Saint-Germain” is the defending champion in the tournament after winning the last two games.
