The Hundred 2026 – Which Welsh cricketers are taking part?

After impressing in his debut season, Newport-born Kellaway has been selected to represent the Welsh Fire again this year.

Alongside fellow youngsters such as Tom Norton, he helped lead the Glamorgan forwards to their first season in the Championship since 2005.

“Last year it was great to get a bit of a chance and get stuck in, it’s a very similar format to T20 but it takes a bit of getting used to,” said Kellaway.

“The quality of cricketers who play in it is world class so you raise your game a little bit again.

“When you get up these levels you have no choice but to hang in there and express yourself and hopefully you can come out with some good performances and some success.”

Alongside fellow Glamorgan team-mate and England Lions team-mate Asa Tribe, Callaway will share a dressing room with some of cricket’s biggest names.

It will be led by former World Cup winners and England internationals Joe Root and Chris Woakes and Welsh-born England T20 opener Phil Salt.

“It’s going to be really nice to share a dressing room with some of these players and any chance I get to play this year, I’m going to take away from them,” Kellaway said.

“Just to be around these guys for a month, outside of training and life cricket, I can feed them and ask them questions, that’s priceless for a youngster like me.”
