Dory Rushen is taking on a new star

The former Al-Ahly Egypt goal is close to a move to Saudi Arabia’s Roshen League in the upcoming summer transfer window, replacing Syrian Omar Al-Somah, the competition’s all-time top scorer.

Koora has learned that Congolese Afemiko Pololu, the Polish striker of Jagiellonian Bialystok, is close to moving to Saudi club Al-Hazm next summer, Mercato.

The Congolese striker is now undergoing the necessary medical before joining the current squad in Tunisia, after which the deal is officially announced.

Pololu will replace Syrian striker Omar Al-Souma, after he left Al-Hazm at the end of last season at the end of his contract, scoring 9 goals and providing 1 assist in 26 games.

Al-Hazm will include Pololu on a free transfer after the end of his contract with his former Polish club, with whom he scored 21 goals and provided 8 assists in 47 games in various competitions last season.

The 27-year-old’s most impressive form came last season in the 2024-25 season, when he finished as the top scorer in the European Conference League with eight goals.

Pololu’s performances led Egyptian side Al-Ahly to negotiate with him in the latest winter transfer window, according to several media reports, but the deal ultimately fell through.

Pullolo is 27 years old. He began his professional career at Swiss club Basel, where he rose to the first team in 2019, before moving to Germany’s Greuther Furth in 2022, and the following year to the Polish champions.

In 3 years, Polulu participated in 134 matches with Jagiellonia, during which he scored 56 goals and made 17 assists, taking into account his ability to play as a winger.
