Video: Al-Habsi surprised Al-Nasr legend in Saudi Arabia vs Oman draw

A pure Arabian group

Omani football legend Ali Al Habsi has confirmed the validity of his predictions for the 2027 Asian Cup held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this Saturday evening.

The draw placed Oman in an all-Arab group with hosts Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Palestine.

Al-Nasr Saudi club legend Fahd Al-Harifi posted a video on his account on Platform X from the event site, flanked by Ali Al-Habsi, who expected Oman and Saudi Arabia to be drawn in the same group.

The Saudi Arabian team is looking for its fourth Asian title after winning it in 1984, 1988 and 1996.

The 19th edition of the Asian Championship will be held from 7 January to 5 February 2027 and will be hosted in 8 stadiums: five stadiums in Riyadh, two in Jeddah and one in Al-Khobar.
