World Cup 2026: Katy Perry and Michael Buble among the three opening ceremony performers

Katy Perry, Michael Buble and Alanis Morissette are among the artists who will perform at three World Cup opening ceremonies this summer.

Ceremonies will precede each of the first matches played in the host nations of the USA, Canada and Mexico

Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin and South African singer-songwriter Tyla will perform at the first event at Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca on Thursday, June 11, ahead of the first game of the 104-game Mexico vs. South Africa tournament.

The following day, Canadian singer-songwriters Buble and Morissette will headline the opening ceremony at BMO Field in Toronto before the hosts face Bosnia and Herzegovina.

And in the United States, pop star Perry and rapper Future will perform at Los Angeles’ Sophie Stadium on June 12 before the USA take on Paraguay.
