Media reports suggest that Saudi Al Hilal striker Darwin Nunez is seriously considering a move away in the near future, given his desire for a new experience away from Al-Zaim, despite joining at the start of the current season.
According to reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Nunes is very open to the idea of playing in the Italian league, as he believes a move there is a move he has long sought, but his high wages at Al Hilal could be a barrier to any potential deal.
Romano explained that the player’s situation has become more difficult at Al Hilal of late, especially after he was left out of the squad for some matches, opening the door to his future at the club and the possibility of him leaving at the next Mercato.

The report adds that Nunes is receiving interest from several clubs inside and outside of Saudi Arabia, be it European clubs or Roshan’s Pro League teams, given their desire to sign a striker with experience and scoring ability.
He noted that the management of “Al Hilal” has not yet decided its final position on the future of the player, whether to sell him permanently or leave him on loan, provided that the details will be decided in the near future, in accordance with the vision of the technical staff and the needs of the team.
Nunez joined Al Hilal last summer for €52 million from Liverpool, but he failed to prove his credentials and was left out of the local squad, particularly after the inclusion of Frenchman Karim Benzema.
