Barcelona’s Spanish star Pedro Gonzalez has revealed that he wants to buy Real Madrid right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold’s shirt after Sunday’s El Clasico as part of his personal collection of shirts from historic matches.
A collection of shirts full of classic memories
Speaking to DAZN, the Barca playmaker explained that he has many shirts in his closet from previous El Clasico matches, but he is looking forward to adding to the England star’s shirt, who has moved to the Merengues this season.
Pedri said: “I have a lot of shirts from previous El Clasico matches, but I will definitely get Arnold’s shirt for the next match, especially since it’s not in my collection yet.”
Cap Verde shirt
In the context of talking about his passion for collecting shirts, the Spanish footballer referred to the 2026 World Cup, expressing his desire to buy the shirt of one of the players of the Cape Verde national team, which is participating in the World Cup for the first time in its history.
He added: “I hope to get the jersey of the Cape Verde national team because it is a team I have never met before and it will be a special memory for me.”
Historical ambition
On a technical level, Pedri stressed the importance of Sunday’s clash against traditional rivals, stressing that Barcelona are looking to win the title by winning over the Catalan fan base while aiming for a rare historic achievement.
“Achieving 100 points in the league is a goal for the coach and the whole team. It is an exceptional achievement that has only been achieved a few times in the history of the League, and it will be etched in the memory.”
