Al Hilal suffered an unexpected shock in their Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup final against Al Khulud when French left-back Theo Hernandez suffered a sudden injury that confounded Italian coach Simone Inzaghi’s calculations.
Hernandez scored the second goal for Al Hilal against Al Khulud in the 45th minute with a rocket.
In the 83rd minute, Inzaghi decided to replace Theo Hernandez, who collapsed in one of the joint balls during the game.

The medical team came down to treat the player, but he was unable to finish the match, leaving his teammate Abdul Karim Darcy to take his place.
The injury comes ahead of next Tuesday night’s match against Al-Nasr in the Roshen Pro League round of 32, which will go a long way in deciding the competition’s champions.
