The campaign will run during the week of the final round of the league, from May 10 to 18, with the participation of a number of the most famous football stars, content creators and influencers associated with the “League of Kings”, with the aim of using the popularity of sports and digital platforms to support children’s issues around the world.

The campaign features Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, Brazilian star Marcelo and League of Legends founder Gerard Pique, as well as a group of well-known live broadcasters and digital content creators from several countries.

The campaign will include a number of global markets, including Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, France and Germany, where the public will be able to donate to UNICEF for a chance to win personal items and special gifts presented by participating stars.

The collections include shirts signed by a number of football stars, including Marcelo, Gerard Pique, Jules Cunde and Aurelien Choumini, in addition to a bicycle belonging to German club president Younes, a keyboard belonging to Argentine content creator La Cobra and boxing gloves signed by Alania Flores.

The campaign confirmed that donations will go directly to UNICEF programs around the world, noting that simple contributions can help provide vaccinations, treatment and nutritional support to children in need.

Oriol Queroll, executive director of product for the League of Kings, said the campaign reflects the ability of sports and content creators to make a real positive impact, emphasizing that the league seeks to engage its global audience to support children and youth in need.

For her part, UNICEF Spain Director of Impact, Programs and Partnerships, Lara Contreras, said the campaign reminds everyone that childhood is a basic right for every child, noting the importance of providing safe and supportive environments for children around the world.

This initiative is part of a global partnership between the League of Legends and UNICEF, which aims to support children through sports, entertainment and digital communities.
