There is no doubt that the altercation in the Real Madrid dressing room between Fede Valverde and Aurelien Choumini will cause a lot of controversy, not only within the royal circle, but also beyond and on a much larger scale.
The question required the Uruguayan midfielder to be taken to hospital where he was receiving treatment before he made an official statement later, as Real Madrid themselves have done given the major crisis the team is experiencing this season.
“Mundo Deportivo” newspaper reported that the brother of Alex Baena, the player of “Atletico” Madrid, took advantage of the dispute between the “Real” players to mock Valverde.
Valverde assaulted Alex Peña in the Bernabeu car park three years ago following a previous spat between them in the Copa del Rey.
“Villarreal” manager Cesko Nadal wrote on Twitter at the time: “Valverde is a thug and a coward” after the incident that took place when Valverde crossed the parking lot where Villarreal’s team bus was and collided with Alex Baena.
Now Baena’s brother has found the perfect opportunity to send a sharp message to Valverde as he wrote: “Everything you do comes back to you,” noting that this time it was Valverde who received the blow, recalling the 2023 incident.
