Morocco has agreed a new friendly ahead of the World Cup

The Moroccan national team has agreed to hold a new friendly match in preparation for the 2026 World Cup finals, which will be held in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

The Moroccan team is in the third group of the World Cup, next to Brazil, Haiti and Scotland.

The Atlas Lions team will play a friendly match with Madagascar next June.

The Malagasy federation announced on its social media account the agreement to host a friendly match with Morocco, which will be held at the Prince Moulay Abdullah Stadium in Rabat.

The Madagascar Football Association stated that the date of the friendly match will be confirmed later.

The Moroccan national team had earlier agreed to meet Norway in a friendly match, but the friendly match against El Salvador was cancelled.

The Lions are aiming to repeat their World Cup success by finishing fourth in Qatar 2022.
