The European finals know their owners… fiery confrontations await Aston Villa and Crystal Palace

After the Champions League, the Europa League knows its two sides

The contract for the teams that qualified for the Europa League and European Conference League finals ended after the second legs of the semi-finals on Thursday night, deciding the sides of the final of the two continental championships, which will bring down the curtains on the current editions later this month.

Aston Villa will face Freiburg in the Europa League final, and Crystal Palace will face Rayo Vallecano in the same round of the Conference League.

The Champions League decided both sides of the final after Arsenal beat Atletico Madrid to face Paris Saint-Germain, who knocked out Bayern Munich.

Aston Villa reached the Europa League final after beating Nottingham Forest 4-1 on aggregate, losing the first leg 0-1 before winning the second leg 4-0.

Freiburg also qualified after overcoming Sporting Braga, losing the first leg 1-2, before winning the second leg 3-1, benefiting from the early dismissal of Portugal international Mario Dorgeles.
