The Ivorian player is deciding his fate with Al-Ahly
Ivorian star Saudi Al-Ahly midfielder Franck Kesse has made his final decision on his future with the club, stressing that he does not want to extend his contract, which expires at the end of the current season.
According to the report of the “Foot Mercato” website, Kessier has rejected all offers from the management of Al-Ahly to convince him to stay, despite the great financial temptations, preferring to return to European stadiums.
The decision follows a successful season for the Ivorian international with Al-Ahli, where he contributed significantly to the team’s recent AFC Champions League title, and he has continued to deliver exceptional performances following his move to the Saudi Arabian league.
Kessier has been one of the main pillars of the team in recent years, as he played 117 matches for Al-Ahly, scoring 26 goals and providing 13 assists, becoming one of the most influential players in the midfield.
Kessier (29) sees the time to gain new experience in Europe after three years in Jeddah, where the player’s name has been linked with the interest of major European clubs, especially Juventus, who are closely monitoring his situation, as well as Inter Milan, Galatasaray and AEK, according to Saudi newspaper AlYoum.

Kese joined Al-Ahly in the summer of 2023, arriving from Barcelona for around €12 million, after a busy European career that included spells at AC Milan, Atalanta and Cesena. He also has an outstanding international record with the Ivory Coast national team, where he played 99 matches and scored 14 goals.
Notably, Kessier moved to the Saudi League after a difficult spell at Barcelona and managed to regain his brilliance with Al-Ahly at the local and continental levels.
