Is your Porsche Taycan too slow at the Nürbugring? You need this Manthey Kit.

At 124 mph (200 km/h), the regular Turbo GT with the Weissach Package produces 209 lbs (95 kg) of downforce. The Manthey Kit increases this to 638 lbs (290 kg). It has a top speed of 192 mph (309 km/h)—the car generates 1,631 lbs (740 kg) of torque to push it down the road.

Larger brakes with higher pads have been installed, and driving dynamics have been improved with a new setup that uses active suspension and rear steering.

A gray 911 was parked outside the entrance gate to Manthey's HQ.

The different gates of Manthey’s Nurburgring HQ are named after different brands, hence the name Spa.

The BYD Yangwang U9, which was spotted at the ‘Ring last summer. That’s Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi fresh off the wagon, a few months before the car’s appearance. Gran Turismo 7. (I hope the real thing drives better than the car in the game…)

Manthey also used magic on the powertrain. The maximum current has been increased by 30 percent to 1,300 A, which increases the nominal power by 26 hp (20 kW) to 804 hp (600 kW). The attack method, sent from Formula E (where Porsche has been very successful in recent seasons) raises this to 978 hp (730 kW) for 10 seconds. And although the total power output in the control system is still the same as 1,019 hp (760 kW) as the Weissach Pack, the maximum torque in this method increases by 22 lb-ft (30 Nm) to 936 lb-ft (1,270 Nm).

“The Manthey Kit turns the Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach Package into a supercar. On the Nordschleife, you can feel the stability and confidence that the car provides in fast sections and when it explodes,” said Kern. “We were able to set some of the best times in the past thanks to the improved aero flow, improved tire performance, and more power available.”

More importantly for Porsche, Kern’s time means that for the second time, the German OEM holds the Nordschliefe electric car lap record, taking it away from BYD, which set a 6:59.157 lap time. by the end of 2025 and the Yangwang U9, a car with three times the power of this Taycan. But none of these road cars are close to the EV lap record, set by Romain Dumas in 2019 at Volkswagen’s ID, when he entered the space in 6:05.336.

Pricing will be announced in due course, but the base Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach Package starts at $243,700.
