Paris defense looked better from the start
The French champion, the defending champion, PSG, today, Wednesday, set the day of the Champions League final with England’s Arsenal, drawing with Germany’s Bayern Munich (1-1).
Paris won a thrilling first leg at home (5-4) to advance to the final scheduled for May 30 in Budapest, Hungary, 6-5 on aggregate.

The Alvarez deal. “Atletico” of Madrid has set the price of its star to “Barcelona”.
The visitors struck early as it was barely three minutes into the game before France star Ousmane Dembele scored to put Paris ahead after a perfect cross from his Georgian team-mate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Bayern Munich tried to make amends for the rest of the match, but the final strike was missing from its stars and Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov played a big role in keeping the home side’s attacks at bay, stopping strong strikes from Jamal Musiala, Michael Olisse and Luis Diaz.
On the other hand, Paris’s counter-attacks posed an extreme threat to goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who in turn reacted to the French’s flurry of attacks, which came through Kvaratskhelia, Desiree Douy and Bradley Barkula, given the obvious weakness in coverage of Bayern Munich’s players, who left the visitors wide.
All of Bayern’s attempts to penetrate the opponent’s defense failed until English star Harry Kane managed to equalize for Bayern in the 90+4th minute, but it was not enough to qualify.
“Arsenal” took the first place in the Budapest final, defeating the Spanish guest, “Atletico” Madrid yesterday (1-0), in the second leg, after the first leg ended in a draw (1-1).
