For the past few months, I’ve been having a rough time Ninja Cream at Costco when I think about our fryer, toaster oven, bread maker, rice cooker, and stand mixer all fighting for space. Nutribullet’s new Chill ice cream maker I can confuse my thoughts with a small part of it. While the Cream base is 17.44 by 8.58 inches, the Cool is only 9.6 by 5.74 inches, making it easy to squeeze onto the counter and store for later my family’s DIY cool decks.
The Chill is now available from Nutribullet online store and Amazon for $199.99 and comes in 16-ounce pint cups. You will also need to provide all the ingredients that include mixing the ice cream, pouring it into pint cups that are frozen for 24 hours, and stirring the result to make it uniform.
Most of the countertop ice cream makers are very powerful mixers that will not heat up or be overheated by the freezer load. Other expensive options like Ninja Swirl go ahead to give offer soft drinks, but the Nutribullet Chill has five presets that use its two-sided mixed leaves to make ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt, smoothies, or sorbets. I hope I won’t feel guilty about making random purchases while digging through a bowl of cobblestone streets, until I open that drawer and remember the mess that is our electrical shelf.
