It began when the president announced “Project Freedom,” a U.S. operation to help ships stuck in the Gulf escape safely in the Strait of Hormuz. But less than 48 hours later, that plan was put on hold, with President Trump threatening a “massive” bombardment if Tehran did not meet his demands for a deal. Anthony and Sarah discuss what it will take for the United States to pull itself out of the war and look at the political costs at home as oil prices hit new records. Can Trump still convince Americans that his so-called “little war” on food and gas prices is worth it? And can he do it before the middle of November?
