The Xbox update continues with the console’s animations

It feels like not a day goes by these days without Xbox news, and today is no different. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma just announced that Xbox owners will get new music and animations on May 13. The console boot animation is the new Xbox logofinish with a little twist on the existing boot-up text.

Microsoft first unveiled its new Xbox logo last month, and the company has already released the Xbox version of the logo, as well as more images for Xbox fans to use. The new Xbox logo has a glass design, and I understand that Microsoft has also been using this new design for some of the internals of Project Helix.

The news of the boot camp update comes a day after Sharma announced it the first major community update on the Xbox. These updates will see some veterans leave, get promoted, and new faces and tech support the Xbox team. Sharma has brought in several former members of Microsoft’s CoreAI team to bring in “new leaders with consumer and technology expertise that we didn’t have.”
