The Pistons defeated the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals

Detroit — Cade Cunningham scored 23 points, Tobias Harris was 20 and Detroit Pistons the beat Cleveland Cavaliers 111-101 Tuesday night in Game 1 of their second-round series.

The Pistons rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the first round Orlando to advance to the playoffs for the first time since 2008.

Cleveland swept Toronto in seven games to reach the second round for the third straight year, a run that began with Bickerstaff, who was fired by the Cavs and hired by the Pistons a month later.
