The Italian coach regrets the absence of his star… and sends a message to the Gulf
Italian coach and Al Hilal technical director Simone Inzaghi stressed that his side treat every match in the Roshan Saudi Professional League as a final after Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Al Khalij in Round 31 saw them close the gap to the leaders to just two points.
Inzaghi said at the press conference after the match. “I congratulate my team for the victory. After the game, I congratulated the players for their efforts and fighting spirit.” He also praised the Gulf team and said it “deserves to be saluted and respected”.
