In a interview with our colleague Joanna Stern on his YouTube channelOpenAI president Greg Brockman said the company is working on a “family of devices” to support its AI models. However, Brockman was not convinced reports that one of these devices is the rumored OpenAI that is expected to be launched in 2027, or previous rumors that the device. he can wear it such as the Humane AI pin. He didn’t give a release date, saying only that “you can expect them soon.”
When asked if Apple’s case against OpenAI it may affect the current and previous devices Apple creator Jony IveBrockman said, “We focus on our development and our technology.” He added, “We are not interested in other companies’ secrets. We are very innovative. We think about ourselves.”
Whatever new OpenAI tools take, Brockman says he thinks we’ll change how we talk to our computers instead of writing “a lot of what we do.” Regarding the problem of everyone who talks to their computers in an open office, he brought the silent masks of “lips” that are starting to appear, saying that even if he does not use one, “it shows you where it is right in the market,” although everyone would agree that it is not a good solution.
Brockman also said OpenAI is working to address trust issues with its AI models, such as concerns about the nature of ChatGPT’s “temporary chats,” including developing technical solutions that provide “certain, quantifiable guarantees” that AI alone can review users’ privacy.
