Elon Musk has settled his case with advertisers who once said he should be to be charged for refusing to advertise on his platform, X.
In a shared knowledge which reveals little about the alliance, the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) and X said they are “putting the case against the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) behind them.”
X sued the WFA in 2024, just before the race X caused the platform’s revenue to drop by $1.5 billion by the end of 2023. Musk was furious, declaring “war” on X about eight months later. he told the advertisers who refused to buy X’s ads to “go it alone.”
