Actually, the Starliner could fly into space this year



When we last looked at Boeing’s Starliner plane in February, NASA was announcing that it designated the 2024 Starliner pilot flight as a “Type A” problem, admitting that the plane was a serious failure.

At the time, NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said the space agency was working with Boeing to “understand the risks involved” in the Starliner flight, and improve it. Starliner would not fly its next mission, a cargo shuttle to the International Space Station, until the problems were identified and repaired. He refused to put a date on the test flight.

However, it seems that the project is moving forward.
