Spain manager Mark Cucurella’s tattoo after winning the World Cup

Spain defender Mark Cucurella has kept his promise to get a tattoo of World Cup-winning coach Luis de la Fuente.

Cucurella helped Spain win the World Cup this month, beating Argentina 1-0 in the final.

Cucurella, who joined Real Madrid from Chelsea for £52m in June, revealed the tattoo – a portrait of De La Fuente holding the World Cup in front of the number 26 – On social media., outsider

“Promise kept,” Kukrella wrote alongside a photo and video of his tattoo.

De la Fuente said after the final that he hoped Cucurella would keep his word.

“I told them before, ‘Did you make a mistake?’ He joked in the post-match press conference. “They did, but they would enjoy it.

“I’m not so ugly that they have to put it where no one can see it. But it makes me smile and I’m proud that they keep their promise.”

Cucurella carried his wife’s pajama top with him during the World Cup as a good luck charm and recently said he has his trademark long, curly hair so his child can easily keep an eye on him during matches.
