New Rangers manager Derek McInnes is determined not to let another Scottish Premiership trophy slip from his grasp.
After deflating the final day decider with Hearts, the 55-year-old arrives at Ibrox confident he can lead them to their first title since 2021.

“It’s important that we get off to a good start,” he said Sky Sports News Ahead of his first competitive game in charge.
Derek McInnes led Hearts to the brink of the Premiership last season before taking over at Rangers.
“We haven’t had that for a couple of seasons at Rangers, especially in that opening game.
“I think trying to build confidence, build some momentum, belief (is important), the fans are desperate for something.
“We have to earn that belief with the performances we can put out.
“If the team can gain confidence as we go forward, then I see no reason not to have the ambition to win the title this season.”
It’s been another summer of rebuilding at Rangers.
Eight new players have arrived at Ibrox so far, including Hearts duo Laurence Shankland and Cammy Devlin, while former captain James Tavernier and goalkeeper Jack Butland are among the departures.
“Every team and every manager is still looking for some key additions,” McInnes added.
“But since four weeks ago, the players have responded brilliantly to our work.

“Everyone is just looking for that first game properly. I’m glad the pre-season friendlies are over. Friendlies are friendlies for a reason and Dundee United’s first game on Friday is important.
“We have to be as ready as possible. Physically, I think we are. As a squad, we still have some work to do.
“We have good options in certain areas of the pitch. We’re a bit light defensively and we’ve got good numbers centrally.
“We have good options at centre-forward, but I think this is an area we can improve.”
