WATCH: Scaffolding ripped from Hong Kong building as storm hits ground

Police said they received several calls after a multi-storey scaffolding on Cheng Sha Wan Road collapsed in strong winds on Saturday. No injuries were reported.

Typhoon Null made landfall in southern China early Sunday, lashing the region with strong winds and heavy rain, forcing Hong Kong’s airport to cancel about 360 passenger flights.

The typhoon is the strongest to hit China in 2026, state media reported.
