The Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, visited the famous ‘Assad’ prison in Sednaya on the first visit of the head of the UN to Syria since 2009. Known as the prison of the Assad regime, Sednaya was called the ‘killing house’ in Syria where thousands were tortured and killed.
