Have we seen the last of Beau Greaves in the PDC Women’s Series? ‘Beau ‘N Arrow’ admitted he felt “unsettled” after the 2025 edition and felt “everyone wanted to beat me”.

Greaves claimed her third women’s world matchplay title in four years He defeated Fallon Sherk 6-5 in a thrilling final in Blackpool.

The Doncaster Aerosmiths started their title bid with an emphatic 5-1 win before Finnish star Kirsi Vinikainen survived a scare against Gemma Hayter.

Greaves leveled Sherk in the final with ‘The Queen of the Palace’ at 5-5 and forced a decider.

They shared the highest but Greaves came out on top with 56 checkouts to secure the crown.

Greaves has won a record 57 PDC Women’s Series titles and discussing her future, the 22-year-old spoke about the difficulty of spinning between the men’s and women’s games.

“It’s really hard,” he said. “I think I’ve tried to focus on just the men on my tour card. I think after the last women’s series, I felt a bit overwhelmed after that.

“I didn’t really enjoy it too much. I felt a bit like everybody wanted to beat me, so coming out there I thought ‘maybe I should just focus on better darts and more competitive darts and playing my ranking’, just give me something to work on.”

“I think it gets a bit stale for everyone in the women’s game because you’re working towards this goal and once you’re there, there’s nothing else to go towards.

“After the end I was just thinking, ‘I think now I’ll concentrate on the Pro Tour and the Euro Tour that I’ve qualified for’, just try and do it.

“I still love that side of the game, but now I think my main goal is the men’s team and enjoy that part of it and the challenges that come with it.”

Greaves’ latest glory is just the beginning, with World Youth Finalists admitting he has to focus on improving his stage game.

“I play darts for fun but now it’s my job, but I love the game. I can’t get enough of it, and it’s a massive thing to be able to support the women’s game,” said Greaves, who Became first woman to win PDC Rankings title with historic 8-7 win over Michael Smith Players Championship 11 in the final.

“I want to play better. I’ve won tournaments on floor, but I think I need to improve my stage game and I know that.”

‘I’m really enjoying the challenge’

Greaves’ victory on the Winter Gardens stage also confirmed his place in the 2026 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts and the 2027 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, after taking part in both tournaments last year.

“Obviously winning a Pro Tour has really put me up in the rankings. I’ve done well in the quarter finals, semis, but it’s tough,” said Greaves.

“I think I’m really enjoying the challenge just to get there, to qualify for them and yes, it would be an achievement for me just to be able to play there and because I did it.

“I want to win, I want to do well, I have to work harder, I want to play better. I know I have a long way to go before I can really compete with the men.

“I know I can do it, I just have to work harder at it and just keep my mind, believe in myself more than anything. I think sometimes I doubt myself too much and that gets in the way of things.

“I’m enjoying the Pro Tour, the Euro Tour is coming up, I’m looking forward to them and it’s hard, but it’s good.”

‘I Can Beat Anyone’

Greaves also sent a warning to his rivals, saying he “never surprises himself” and that he can “beat anybody” on his day.

“I think with me, it’s just when and where it’s going to turn and that’s something that’s not a very good thing in my game that I’m still very inconsistent, but I can be very consistent. It’s one of those things,” said Greaves, who made more history after the PDC Pro Tour. Qualified for Hungarian Darts Trophy and Czech Darts Open.

“I know I can do it, I think sometimes I get too happy with my own life and sometimes I forget that I have to do better, keep winning, keep doing it to prove it to get up the rankings. I get too fixated and that’s my problem.”

“I’ll definitely take the positives,” insisted Sherk, who fell short in the last-leg decider in the showpiece for the second straight year.

“If someone had told me I’d be in the final, I would have cut their hand off.

“Beau deserved to win. He was the best player, so full credit to him.

“Hopefully this will kick start my season. My main goal is to go to the world championships, so if I can get my game back together, you never know, I could be running again.”
