Arsenal’s new player has passed a medical examination

The Premier League champions are bolstering their ranks with young talent

“Arsenal” has reached an agreement with the young talent, 16-year-old “Cardiff City” player Axel Donchev, to move to the London club this week, according to a press release.

Famous Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Sunday that Donchev, who has already undergone a medical in preparation for a move to Arsenal, is set to sign his contract.

Donchev became the youngest player in Cardiff City’s history to play in English competition when he played in the League Cup (EFL Trophy) in October 2025, aged 15 years and 234 days.

Donchev plays in midfield and is of Polish and Bulgarian descent, but he represented Wales at youth level.
