Harry Wilson made his Leeds debut in a 3-2 pre-season loss to Wrexham.

Wales attacking midfielder Harry Wilson made his debut for Leeds United as they were beaten 3-2 by Wrexham in the club’s pre-season game.

Wilson, who joined the Elland Road side on a free transfer in the summer After his contract at Fulham expired, he started playing in the second half of the game at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Leeds found themselves behind almost immediately when Kiefer Moore put Wrexham in front with a left-footed shot in the first minute.

Joel Pirro had a chance to equalize from the spot after Dan James was brought down by keeper Arthur Okonkwo, but his penalty missed.

Pirro equalized for the Premier League side with a backheel from Shaun Longstaff’s ball.

Bailey Cadamarteri raced through on goal and slotted Wrexham back in front before Leeds equalized again when Longstaff fired home a right-footed shot.

Wilson was introduced by Leeds manager Daniel Farke as part of his second-half changes while Sam Smith, who also scored Wrexham’s winner in the pre-season win over Manchester United, netted late on for the Championship side.

Leeds went close in extra time through Wilson but his shot went wide.
