Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham captain Christian Romero Italian skies
It is understood that any deal for the Argentina defender would be financially complicated for the Italian champions.
Inter are looking to sign a central defender this summer and Romero is one of their targets for the position John Stoneswho is a free agent after leaving Manchester City and has interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.
There is an expectation that Spurs will allow Romero to leave this summer if the right offer comes along. He is under contract until 2029.
The 28-year-old missed the end of last season with a knee injury and came under fire from fans for not attending Tottenham’s crucial last game against Everton, ready to watch his boyhood club Belgrano play River Plate in the Argentina Primera Division Apertura final.
