Luton stabbing: Police launch homicide investigation after teenager’s death

Police have launched an investigation into the murder of a teenage boy after he was stabbed to death in Luton.

Bedfordshire Police said they responded to reports of a disturbance at Kingsway Amusement Park at 6.30pm on Friday, where a number of teenagers were seen carrying large knives.

The 17-year-old, who has not been identified, was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds but died a short time later, the force said.

A teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of violence and is in police custody for questioning. A second teenager was arrested but remains in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police are asking the public for information.
