Anthropic’s Opus 5 is about to work well, rather than leapfrog

Today, Anthropic released Opus 5a new version of a model that has become a popular choice for writing and other programming tasks, among other things.

While this is an interesting flaw in Opus, it does not appear to be part of the Opus 4.5-level implementation of the coding agent.
