Anthony Joshua is 7.6 pounds heavier than he was in his last fight against Jake Paul as he prepares to face British boxer Christian Preng on Saturday night in Jeddah.
Joshua weighed in at 251lbs on Friday when he defeated YouTube boxer Paul in December 2025, who weighed in at 243.4lbs.
Albanian Prenga weighed in at 261.4lbs, 10.4lbs heavier than Joshua.
The heaviest Joshua fought was 255.4lbs when he beat Jermaine Franklin in April 2023.
“We’re feeling good. It’s going down to Jeddah tomorrow night,” Joshua told DAZN Boxing.
The weigh-in came later Tyson Fury claimed a seventh-round TKO win over Mariusz Wach In Thailand.

The 35-year-old Albanian will be a formidable opponent for Joshua, with Prenga having lost just once in his 21-fight career, claiming each of his last 16 wins by knock-out or TKO.
“The job is done and it’s not going to be easy,” Eddie Hearn told DAZN Boxing
“(Prenga) is not a guy coming here with a defeat bundle, coming for a paycheck. He has all of Albania behind him by the sounds of things.
“Big fight, big chance. We know what comes on the other side; we’ve got to deal with this guy tonight.
“I hope, and I hope, that we get a performance that shows what Joshua has put into this training camp.”
Joshua, who has not fought since stepping into the ring to face Paul in December 2025, Alexander is training with USIK’s team To prepare for tomorrow’s fight.
He revealed in the build-up to tomorrow’s fight that Usic has the team encouraged him to ‘show greatness’ Against Prenga this weekend.
“I’m pretty good at what I do anyway,” Joshua told Sky Sports. “I’m pretty strong. I can take, I can give, so sometimes I can get away with doing enough but still being good enough.
“But these guys are like, ‘No.’ They want to see more. They want to see more, like take it out.
“Let’s bring out the good things in you and let’s improve. And my approach to training has definitely improved a lot.”
He added: “You’re performing at your best, but performing at this level should be normal. That’s what USIC’s team said. Your greatness should be something you do every day in the gym.”
