Five Metropolitan Police officers have been injured after a police boat crashed on Westminster Bridge in central London.
The Met said the incident took place at around 15:40 BST and involved a boat from the Marine Police Department.
In the statement, “several officers went into the water, but they came back out” and “the extent of their injuries is pending”.
No members of the public are believed to have been involved or injured in the incident.
