Germany have appointed Jurgen Klopp as their new head coach.
Klopp returns to management on a deal that runs until the end of the 2030 World Cup Left Liverpool in 2024 because he “ran out of energy”Won six trophies in nine years at the club.
After a six-month hiatus, the 59-year-old was appointed Red Bull’s head of global soccer, later saying he had no intention of returning to club management.
Klopp was the first man to turn to the DFB when Julian Nagelsmann resigned following a disappointing World Cup finish with a penalty shoot-out exit to Paraguay in the last 32.
Former Liverpool assistant Pep Leijnders, who recently left Manchester City following the departure of Pep Guardiola, and Peter Kravietz are part of the coaching staff along with Sven Bender, who played under Klopp at Borussia Dortmund.
