The The United States continues to attack Iran for the 13th night in a row on Thursday and explosions were reported in several Iranian cities on Friday morning.
In addition to ongoing threats, disruptions to shipping continue to grow. Ship tracking data showed that only one tanker crossed the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, the lowest since May 7.
However, dispatches from the London Stock Exchange Group indicated that two Chinese tankers carrying crude oil from Saudi Arabia had safely exited the Bab al-Mandeb River on Friday. This is despite the naval blockade of Yemen Houthis announced against Saudi Arabia on Monday.

Where did the US attack Iran?
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said at 01:00 GMT on Friday, it had ended its latest strikes against Iran.
CENTCOM has said it is looking at Iran’s military command centers, drone depots, communications networks, coastal observation sites and maritime capabilities.
On Friday, Iranian media reported explosions or attacks in several Iranian cities. State broadcaster IRIB reported that explosions occurred in Khondab, Khorramabad, Konarak and Jask. Iran’s Fars news agency reported that two people were injured following a drone attack this morning in Khorramabad, citing the deputy governor of the western province of Lorestan.
Iran’s Mehr news agency reported on Friday that US missiles hit the cities of Andimeshk and Omidiyeh in Khuzestan province. There were no casualties or injuries.
Al Jazeera’s Tohid Assidi reported from the capital of Iran, Tehran, that an explosion was heard on the island of Qeshm, located in the Strait of Hormuz, on Friday.
An attack in the Iranian city of Bandar Abbas has injured two people, Iranian media reported on Friday.
Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Friday that four people were killed and five others were wounded in US missile fire near the southwestern city of Ahvaz.
Where did Iran strike in the Gulf?
Bahrain: In a statement carried by Iran’s Mehr news agency, Iran’s military said it used unmanned aerial vehicles to target fuel tanks, weapons depots and military bases at the Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain.
Jordan: The military added that an aircraft manufacturing facility, a maintenance facility and a dormitory at the Muwaffaq Salti/Al-Azraq base in Jordan were also affected, warning that anything against Iran’s interests would undermine regional security and economic stability.
What have the leaders of all parties said?
On Thursday, US President Donald Trump raised his voice against Tehran. He told the US website Axios that he could launch a major strike against Iran, after Tehran retaliated against US allies in the Gulf, including hitting a communications tower in Kuwait.
Trump said he was “considering a major attack” it would be “greatest ever”.
“I’m about to make a decision. We’re all ready,” Trump said.
Separately, Trump has threatened, on his Truth Social platform, that if Iran attacks ships, the US will use Tehran’s frozen assets to pay for the repairs.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned on Friday that using the world’s wealth to pay for future events is a dangerous example for the world.
“Seizing another country’s wealth to pay for something unrelated to the future is a bad example,” Araghchi wrote on X.
He warned that “those who celebrate or benefit from such money should remember that: when governments impose confiscation of property, no one is safe.
