The statements of Tullio Tinti, the agent of Milan “Inter” defender Alessandro Bastoni, are a clear message to the clubs interested in his services this summer.
“Bastoni still has two years left on his contract with Inter and he loves the club’s colors and is not currently considering a move to any other team,” Tinti told Sky Sports Italy.
“But if a club comes along in the future that satisfies Inter and the player, we can discuss that, but at the moment there is nothing concrete about the existence of real negotiations.”
The newspaper reported.come on“Bastoni appeared on the list of interests of Jose Mourinho, the head coach of Real Madrid.
He explained that Bastogne’s agent used the “carrot and stick” method in his statements about the player.
Tinti has left the door open for Bastoni to leave Inter Milan this summer. If the player and the club are satisfied with the offer, the negotiations will begin.
As for Real, they have yet to make a move for the Italian defender, who is on Mourinho’s shortlist of names, and in order for the Merengues to seal a new deal, they must first sell a player, and the same goes for the two positions Mourinho wants to strengthen: the heart of the defense and midfield.
The Portuguese coach currently has five defenders in this position: rookie Konate, Dean Heussen, Antonio Rudiger, Asensio and Militao.

If the current composition of the team changes, the option to acquire Bastoni will remain open for Real Madrid until the transfer market closes.
Mourinho admires the Italian’s toughness and ability to get the ball out from the back, in addition to his vast experience, as he is a complete player of the highest level, as Bastoni was part of the Italy squad that won the Euro 2020 title.
Milan “Inter”, in turn, also hints that despite the great importance of Bastoni in the plans of coach Christian Chivo, he will be ready to listen to an appropriate offer.
The website Transfermarkt estimates Bastogne’s market value at around 65 million euros, while the Italian club set the starting point for negotiations at around 70 million euros.
Bastogne’s contract runs until 2028 and earns a net salary of €5.5 million per year.
Media reports also stated that the player was recently linked to a case with alleged events dating back to 2020, a matter that is still under legal investigation, according to what the report said. If this issue is not resolved, it could affect Real Madrid’s potential interest in signing him in the future.
In addition, the relationship between Real Madrid and Inter Milan seems to be very good, especially after the transfer of Dumfries for 20 million euros, in addition to the visit of the officials of the Italian club to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium to attend the Classic match.
