Allegations against Inter Miami in the Brazilian star’s deal
Inter Miami’s joy at announcing the deal for Brazilian Casemiro was short-lived as the American League decided to launch an investigation into the deal.
Yesterday, Wednesday, Casemiro joined the ranks of Inter Miami on a free transferAfter the end of the contract with “Manchester United”, he joined the many stars of the American team led by the duo of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
The official statement revealed by the American League newspaper says:The sunEnglish has launched an investigation into allegations of breach of contract negotiations by Inter Miami regarding the Casemiro deal.
The allegations relate to “discovery rights”, a system that gives clubs priority when negotiating with international players who are not registered in the competition.
This system stipulates that no club has the right to negotiate with a player if his scouting rights are registered in the name of another club, except by acquiring those rights or reaching an agreement with him.
Los Angeles Galaxy had the right to release Casemiro, which could force Inter Miami to pay £750,000.
“The association is gathering all relevant information and will refrain from further comment until the review is complete,” the statement said.
“While Inter Miami and the Los Angeles Galaxy have reached an agreement to sign Casemiro in a top talent search, the terms will be revealed after the tampering investigation is complete.”
The amount of money that “Inter Miami” will pay to “Los Angeles Galaxy” for the rights to discover Casemiro will be determined after the end of the investigation.
