Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua traded insults as fresh doubts were raised about their long-awaited showdown this year.
Fury returns to action against Mariusz Wach in Thailand on Friday before Joshua’s comeback fight against Christian Prenga on Saturday in Saudi Arabia.
The British rivals were expected to face each other in November, with the date and venue yet to be announced, but Fury insisted he was ready to fight “someone else” later this year.

But talking to Dev Sahni Sky Sports NewsWrath cast doubt on the war with Joshua in an explicative rant about his compatriot.
“Let’s not make this about stupid Mr. Bodybuilder. I’m not interested in him or his partner or anyone else. I don’t give a **** about him. I don’t care if I ever see him again in my life. If I do, I do. If I don’t, I don’t,” he said.
“I’m not interested in him, anyone should be for him – his manager, his wife, his sister, his cousin. No interest.
“We’ve got five months left in the year, so I want to box this boy (Wach), do well and do what I can.
“I know I can beat this fella. I can beat this guy with one hand, and that’s not to say anything bad about Marius, but I’m in good shape. I can beat all these heavyweights with one hand. But I’m in good shape. I’m very good, injury free and I’m ready to rock and roll.
“There’s five months to get another fight before the end of the year. And if it’s your guy Anthony Joshua, great. And if it’s not, then I’ll fight somebody else.”
Joshua later hit back at Fury, branding his British rival as “Mr. Greedy Belly” and insisting that he would “hold up his end of the bargain by beating Prenga this weekend”.

“He’s always been talking about my body all these years,” Joshua said. “What I’ll do for him is at a discounted rate because of his profile, I’ll help him transform his body from a gluttonous belly to a bodybuilder. I’ll give him a set of six-pack abs.
“I’ll give him a set of abs. If he really wants to know what it looks like, I’ll help him. He’s always obsessed with my abs.
“It’s going downhill. If I finish my next fight, I’m up, I’ve done my part in the bargain. And now it’s up to your partner, Mr. Greedy Bailey, to do his duty to get in the ring with me.”

Wembley Stadium may have to extend its current curfew to 2am for international TV broadcasts and Joshua is open to the next fight.
“Quick party, quick central London, local Wetherspoon or whatever, and then hit fight night at Wembley. It will be incredible,” he said.

Fury has no plans to watch Joshua fight
Fury’s fight with Wach on Friday will take place in front of 1,500 spectators in Pattaya at 4pm UK time, with Joshua taking on Saturday night in Jeddah.
Joshua took part in Fury’s win over Arslanbek Makhmudov in London in April this year but Fury will not be traveling to Saudi Arabia.
“I’m going home. I’ve got as much interest in Anthony Joshua vs. ‘Some Pringles’ as I’ve spread across the floor. None. I’m going home. I’m not interested in AJ and his partner boxing,” he said.
Asked if a showdown against Joshua in Saudi Arabia on Saturday would send a signal to everyone that the fight is happening, Fury added: “You can send as many signals as you want.
“You’ve been told it’s happening for 10 years. It didn’t happen, did it? So don’t hold your breath. I’ve always had my doubts. But if it happens, good. Even if it doesn’t.”

Fury: Watch is a tough guy
Wach was last heavyweight world champion in 2012 but continues to fight annually, though has lost eight of his last 12 fights.
The 46-year-old wants to “ruin” Fury’s plans to fight Joshua, and Fury is not ignoring his opponent.
“It’s going to be crazy but I’m looking forward to the challenge. It’s going to be good,” said ‘The Gypsy King’.
“He’s a tough man. He’s a veteran, and he’s been in the game for over 20 years. So he’s a dangerous man, a big heavyweight, and anything can happen. I’ve got to be careful of him and be on my A-game and do what I do.
“I’ve been here for 10 weeks training, so I’ve left no stone unturned. I’m ready to go. I’m in great shape and I’m fit as a fiddle.”
