Shocking rating.. Marmoush is among the worst players in the Premier League World Cup

“Manchester City” winger has the lowest rating in the Egyptian national team

The winger of the Egyptian national team, Omar Marmoush, received a new blow after the end of the campaign of the “Pharaohs” of the World Cup-2026, according to the statistics of the specialized website “WhoScored”, he was ranked among the players with the worst rating of the tournament.

The website lists Manchester City’s Marmoushi as the third-lowest rated player in the Premier League at the 2026 World Cup among players who have played at least 300 minutes, after receiving a rating of 6.39 out of 10.

Only Ghana’s Antoine Semeneu (Marmoush’s teammate at Manchester City) has surpassed Egypt’s winger, who received a rating of 6.14, and Sweden’s Viktor Lindelof, who had the lowest rating on the list at 6.01.

The following is the ranking of the lowest rated English Premier League footballers in the World Cup.

Victor Lindelof (Sweden) – 6.01

Antoine Semeneu (Ghana) – 6.14

Omar Marmoush (Egypt) – 6.39

Pedro Neto (Portugal) – 6.41

Gabriel Gudmundsson (Sweden) – 6.43

Morgan Rogers (England) – 6.44

Piero Hincapie (Ecuador) – 6.45

Diego Gomez (Paraguay) – 6.52

Nico O’Reilly (England) – 6.53

Jordan Pickford (England) – 6.57

The negative numbers were not limited to this, as the same website revealed that Marmoush had the lowest rating among all players of the Egyptian national team who played more than 200 minutes in the tournament, and the list of the best of the “Pharaohs” was headed by goalkeeper Mustafa Shubert with a rating of 7.38.

These figures came after Marmoush failed to feature in five matches for Egypt’s national team, although the team progressed to the round of 16 for the first time in history, before going out narrowly against Argentina (3-2).

Marmouche came close to scoring one of the highlights of the tournament when he counter-attacked in the dying seconds against Argentina, but Leandro Paredes’ intervention prevented his cross from reaching Mahmoud Hasan Trezeguet before Argentina scored the winner minutes later in what many saw as a turning point for the team.

and:That shot became a piece of art that Paredes wanted to hang in his homeas one of the highlights of his tango career in the tournament.
