Microsoft brings Xbox compatibility back to Windows PC

Playing old Xbox titles on PC supports bonus features such as Vsync support, anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing, and up to 4x the resolution of the original SD signal (up to 2560×1920). Games are limited to their original frame rates and resolution, however, which means a 30fps 4:3 frame rate most of the time. Microsoft says the first batch of games should be played with 11-year-old GTX 950 devices, but recommends a 2017-era GTX 1070 Ti with 8GB of VRAM for optimal performance.
