An important transaction involving Dory Rushen has been lost
The Saudi Arabian league has refused to include a Moroccan national team player in the current summer transfer period for a strange reason.
Media reports have confirmed that Qatari club Al-Shamal have managed to sign Royal Army midfielder Mohamed Rabi Harimat in the current summer transfer window.
The Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat wrote that Harimat was close to moving to the Saudi League, specifically to the Al-Ittifaq club, but a strange reason prevented the completion of the deal.
The newspaper explained that the Saudi League’s recruiting committee sealed the deal after insisting on valuing the player at just $1.5 million.
Due to this valuation, Al-Etifaq failed to secure the services of the 32-year-old, so he moved to the north of Qatar for approximately $2.5 million.
Many clubs have complained about the recruitment committee’s interference in player pricing, which has disrupted many deals recently.
Harimat was one of the most popular players for the Moroccan national team at the 2025 Arab Cup held in Qatar, in which the Atlas Lions were crowned champions, and he even won the tournament’s best player award.
