Money transfer language Al-Hilal removed from “Al-Ittihad Al-Ahli”

Al-Ahly are a few steps away from signing a new deal in the summer transfer window, ahead of their neighbors and arch-rivals Al-Ittihad.

Saudi newspaper Al-Youm reports that former Al-Hilal striker Abdullah Redif is close to a move to Al-Ahli after his move to Al-Ittihad fell through in the current summer transfer window.

Al-Hilal announced the final departure of Abdullah Redif from their ranks after 5 years of promotion to the first team, during which he was loaned out to Al-Taawoun, Al-Shabaab, Al-Etifaq and Al-Fayha.

The Saudi newspaper explained that Redif has already agreed with Al-Ittihad Club to join their ranks in the current summer Mercato with a 3-season contract extension, during which he will receive 27 million riyals, 9 million per season.

However, Al-Ittihad hit back and informed the 23-year-old of the lack of financial liquidity to complete the deal, halting the transfer process.

Due to the failure of the transfer to “Al-Ittihad”, Abdullah Redif is going to accept the previous offer he received from “Al-Ahly” to move to their ranks for free in the current summer transfer period.

He is expected to be Al-Ahli’s third back-up striker, competing with Brazilian Ricardo Matias behind England’s Ivan Toney and Saudi Arabia’s Firas Al-Brykan.

It is noteworthy that the last experience of the young Saudi striker was in the second half of the last season in Al-Fayha club, during which he participated in only 8 matches, during which he did not score any goals, while he scored two goals.
