“Al Hilal” club announced the success of its captain and first star Salem Al Dossari’s surgery for a knee tendon injury.

Al-Dossari underwent a medical examination in Finland yesterday, Monday, with Dr. Lance Limpainen to diagnose his condition and determine the extent of surgery on the injury.

Today, Tuesday, the Saudi club published a tweet on its official page on the “X” website, in which it is said:

He added: “(The surgery) was conducted this morning in Finland by specialist Dr. Limpainen, where it was decided that Salem will begin his treatment and rehabilitation program at a specialized medical center under the supervision of the team’s medical staff.

On 10 July, Al Hilal announced that Tornado would require a treatment and rehabilitation program ranging from six to eight weeks, but surgery could extend his absence.

It comes when Doubts arise over Salem Al-Dosari’s position to stay with Al-Zaim next season;Reports revealed that he has received an offer from Diria and another from the Qatari League.

The 35-year-old has been regarded as one of Al Hilal’s most popular legends since his promotion to the first team in 2011, but his form has dropped significantly in recent seasons under Italian coach Simone Inzaghi.
