After two years of disappointment at the Bernabeu

Real Madrid and Juventus have decided the future of Spanish midfielder Alba Redondo, 29, after days of rumors. A final agreement was reached for his transfer for just €150,000, which shows the failure of his experience with Merengue.

AS newspaper reported that Juventus will pay Real Madrid an agreed fee to sign the player, who had a year left on his contract but had decided to leave in search of the game time he was deprived of in the Spanish capital.

Redondo’s decision to leave was prompted by fears that his absence from the field would affect his chances of qualifying for the next World Cup with Spain, after two disappointing seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu in which he did not enjoy the fame expected.

Redondo joined Real Madrid in 2024 from Levante as one of the top goalscorers in the Spanish women’s league, but her experience at Real did not live up to her expectations, prompting her to seek a new opportunity in Serie A.

Juventus, led by Spanish coach Guerrero, are looking to recapture their former glory in women’s football as they work to strengthen their ranks this season and, in addition to Redondo, have included Sella, Khalifa and compatriot Julia Bartel in an ambitious plan to return the Old Lady to a leading position.
