Panama’s soccer league has launched an official investigation after a wide-ranging controversy sparked by a bizarre own goal in one of the competition’s games amid suspicions of possible game-fixing.
The match between “Sporting San Miguelito” and “Alianza” FC witnessed a controversial shot in the last minute, the hero of which was the first goalkeeper Jose Calderon.
